The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Kwara State Directorate, strongly condemns the recent violent attack on Woro Community in Kaiama Local Government Area of the state, which led to the tragic loss of innocent lives.

 

The Agency, through its State Director, Alhaji Dare Abdulganiyu, describes the incident as disturbing and unacceptable, stressing that no community should be subjected to fear, violence, or the loss of law-abiding citizens. Such acts undermine peaceful coexistence, community safety, and the collective efforts toward sustainable development in the state.

 

Alhaji Dare Abdulganiyu expresses its deep condolences to the families of the victims, the people of Woro Community, and the entire Kaiama Local Government Area.

 

The Agency prays that the Almighty grants eternal rest to the departed and gives comfort and strength to all those affected by this painful tragedy.

 

NOA calls on security agencies to intensify efforts to secure vulnerable communities, particularly through improved intelligence gathering, sustained patrols, and collaboration with local stakeholders to prevent a recurrence of such attacks.

 

The Director also urges residents to remain calm, law-abiding, and cooperative with security agencies by providing timely and credible information that can help restore peace.

 

Alh Dare Abdulgniyu further reaffirms the Agency’s commitment to promoting peace, unity, and national values, and will continue to engage communities through sensitization and dialogue to strengthen trust, resilience, and collective responsibility for security across Kwara State.
